To me, leadership is about listening to understand, valuing different perspectives, taking responsibility for mistakes, and being open to learning from others. Courageous leaders don't just inspire; they empower people. They take responsibility for creating safe and nurturing environments where everyone is heard and valued. They understand that they have the power to build a culture of trust and belonging that encourages others to follow in their footsteps and step outside their comfort zone.
As Brene Brown says, "Courageous leadership is not about being fearless but about acknowledging your fears and pushing past them to achieve greatness."
My core values are curiosity, empathy, balance, and community. These values represent who I aspire to be and how I want to present myself in the world. These values helped me build meaningful relationships, understand others better, and make space for boundaries and intentionality.
Curious
I lean into CURIOSITY to understand people's stories, how things work, and the big whys of situations and life.
Balance
I strive to live a BALACED life to make space and time for different aspects of my life. Creating experience that fill my cup in order to be able to serve others.
Empathy
I lead with EMPATHY which enables me to be relational, vulnerable, and open-minded.
Community
I am committed to co-creating community wherever I am.
