To me, leadership is about listening to understand, valuing different perspectives, taking responsibility for mistakes, and being open to learning from others. Courageous leaders don't just inspire; they empower people. They take responsibility for creating safe and nurturing environments where everyone is heard and valued. They understand that they have the power to build a culture of trust and belonging that encourages others to follow in their footsteps and step outside their comfort zone.

Selected as part of a diverse cohort of emerging leaders across Austin, focused on courageous community engagement, systems change, and cross-sector collaboration. This transformative program helped shape my leadership style, clarify my core values, and inspired my commitment to mentoring others.
Collaborated with coworkers, governmental offices and bussines owners from Isabela, Puerto Rico to develop a local tourist map. This map highlighted local gastronomical offerings, lodging , natural and historic attractions in the region.
